I don't usually think of salmon pinks and mint greens for fall colors. They certainly don't dominate the landscape this time of year but when I was out in the garden a few days ago, I saw some paler, cooler colors in this corner and I thought it was a rather refreshing palette for autumn.
Most of the garden is scarlet, gold, and orange, but this peony is a blush-y rose and the Hebe in the back is a smooth, pastel green.
I love the fiery hues of autumn but can only stay away from these subtle, complex, understated colors for so long.
Which is why the latest colors in the shop this week aren't fiery at all.
